March 9, 2025March 22, 2025 Olive Oil Bottle by Kathey Battrick This beautiful olive oil bottle bottle by Kathey Battrick is made from buff commercial clay and glazed using a layered application. First, three coats of Honey Flux were applied all over the piece. Then, two coats of Iron Lustre were brushed onto the top half. Finally, two coats of Sapphire Float were added to the top quarter of the bottle. The piece was fired to Cone 5.
