August 9, 2025April 4, 2026 MAYCO Nimbus and Ivy over Honey Flux by Jennaca Russ Bud Vase feat. Nimbus and Ivy over Honey Flux by Jennaca Russ This beautiful bud vase by Jennaca Russ shows how different glazes can create a soft, flowing look. She used MAYCO Nimbus over AMACO Honey Flux to get the light purple and green colors. In the middle, she blended Ivy glaze, and at the bottom, she added Winter Wood for a natural finish. The vase was fired to cone 5 with a 10-minute hold, which helps bring out the colors and makes it strong. This glazing method is great for potters who want soft, blended colors that flow into each other. It’s a lovely example of how glaze layering can make pottery look like a piece of art.
