B-Mix Pink Mug by Dyson Forbes

This wheel-thrown mug features a soft, cascading glaze effect created with Pink Opal over Norse Blue and Alabaster on Laguna B-Mix clay, fired to cone 6. Light Flux at the rim enhances the flowing movement, blending delicate pinks, creams, and subtle blues into a smooth, glossy finish.

MAYCO Light Flux on the rim, with a band of MAYCO Norse Blue below Light Flux (could have gone heavier) and then on the bottom third I put MAYCO Alabaster, then over all of that MAYCO Pink Opal over Alabaster about 2/3rds the way down. Alabaster to line the Inside.

• Clay body: Laguna B-Mix clay
• MAYCO Light Flux on the rim
• 1x-2 thick goopy coat of MAYCO Norse Blue below LF
• Mayco Alabaster x2 (from the North Blue on the bottom third)
• Mayco Pink Opal x2 2/3 down (covers the alabaster) a bit heavier at the top
• Fired to cone 6
