This piece shows the stunning transformation of a single tumbler before and after firing. Using the MAYCO glaze combination Pink Opal over Sea Salt, the unfired piece starts with a soft matte pink layer MAYCO Pink Opal over a textured white base MAYCO Sea Salt

Once fired, the glaze matures into a glossy, flowing finish where the Pink Opal melts into dreamy lavender and raspberry streaks. The Sea Salt underneath creates a reactive surface, allowing for unique marbling and soft breaking at the edges – highlighting the depth and chemistry of this glaze combo
