Peacock plate set by Cathie Sheffield-Thompson

Very beautiful glaze result combining AMACO’s Cobalt and Storm celadons, and Indigo Float with a peacock-like effect. The use of Mayco light flux has contributed to the flowing, feathered appearance around the edges of the plates, enhancing the depth and gradient in color. The Laguna Frost and Standard Clayer White clay bodies likely provided a smooth, bright base to make the blues stand out vividly.
