January 22, 2026May 24, 2026 Supernova over Lagoon by Rebecca Habing Very Cosmic Plant Pot by Rebecca Habing, feat. Supernova over Lagoon Celadon Wheel-thrown with care and finished in Rebecca Habing’s story-rich style, this plant pot feels like a small winter charm for your home. Soft snowflakes drift across the surface, and the glaze has a layered depth that shifts gently in the light – calm, cozy, and a little bit magical. Glaze: AMACO Cosmos Supernova over Lagoon. The two glazes were brushed in distinct bands with no overlap during application- Lagoon below, Supernova above. In the hot cone 6 firing, Supernova’s naturally fluid melt softened and flowed, drifting over the Lagoon and creating that graceful, wintry fade. That same fluid, frosted-crystal finish is also what makes Supernova such a great choice for holiday pieces– it’s especially beautiful on Christmas baubles/ornaments, where the glaze can move and catch the light like icy sparkle. AMACO notes Cosmos glazes are food safe, but not recommended for food-contact surfaces due to texture and durability – so this is best as a decorative planter, not dinnerware.
