Peacock technique plate Leigh-Ann Naus

Plate By Leigh-Ann Naus featuring peacock technique

This stoneware plate by Leigh-Ann Naus was created using the peacock technique. The piece is made from white stoneware and finished with two coats of Spectrum Pearl White as the base glaze. Two coats of AMACO River Birch were applied for additional movement, dots of AMACO Smokey Merlot and Mayco Teal Next Time (S&C). The piece was fired to Cone 6, resulting in a controlled flow and interaction of glazes characteristic of the peacock effect – soft pooling, subtle color transitions, and distinctive circular patterning across the surface
