Frozen pond by Janice Prescott

Two Frozen Pond glazes plates by Janice Prescott. The first Frozen Pond (Obsidian, RHC, Seaweed) combo features a soft, muted green base with intricate blue crystalline formations, creating an organic, almost frost-like pattern. The glaze pools in hexagonal shapes, highlighting the depth and contrast between the cool tones. The second Frozen Pond (Obsidian, RHC, Iron Lustre) variant has a deep, rich blue hue with striking dark outlines, resembling cracked ice or a frozen lake. Both pieces showcase a mesmerizing crystalline effect, enhanced by the firing process to bring out stunning textural variations
