Baby Blue with Sky over Cirrus Flow

The Baby Blue mug by Ellie Bartlett combines AMACO Snow, Cirrus Flow, Sky, and Sapphire Float on buff clay fired to Cone 5–6. The interior is glazed with Snow, creating a clean white surface that complements the cooler tones on the exterior. Outside, two coats of Cirrus Flow are layered beneath three coats of Sky, producing soft blue transitions that move across the form.

A narrow stripe of Sapphire Float around the rim adds depth and definition to the composition. During firing, the darker blue settles along the upper edge while the lighter layers below maintain an airy palette of sky blue and white. Together, the glazes create a gentle gradient that feels calm, light, and well suited to the Baby Blue theme.

Baby Pink with Flux Blossom Raspberry Mix

The Baby Pink mug by Ellie Bartlett combines AMACO Blossom Flux and Raspberry Mist on buff clay fired to Cone 5–6. Three coats of Blossom Flux cover both the interior and exterior of the mug, creating a soft cream foundation beneath the upper glaze. Three coats of Raspberry Mist are then applied over the exterior, developing warm pink tones that blend naturally with the lighter glaze below. During firing, the combination creates gentle transitions between blush pink and creamy white, producing a surface that feels soft, playful, and perfectly suited to the Baby Pink theme. The buff clay body subtly warms the palette, giving the finished mug a delicate pastel character.
