Green deep, River Birch and Speckled Jade on B-Mix

This small wireless LED stoneware lamp by Anthony Colucci combines handcrafted artistry with functional design. Its ceramic base is finished in a serene glaze palette of turquoise, aqua blue, and white, evoking waves breaking along a sunlit shore. The surface has a layered, organic quality, where lighter tones flow seamlessly into deeper blues and greens.

The glazing process, shown in the additional photos, reveals a thoughtful combination: MAYCO Green (dip) on the inside, AMACO River Birch around the middle, and MAYCO Speckled Jaded over the entire exterior. Applied to Laguna B-Mix clay and fired at cone 6 in a community kiln, these layers create depth, movement, and a distinctly handmade character.

Often referred to as wine bottle LED lamps, similar designs can be made using readily available fittings such as lamp holders, shades, and wireless LED modules—found on Temu and Amazon—making it easy to bring your own lighting ideas to life.
