Green deep, River Birch and Speckled Jade on B-Mix

This small wireless LED stoneware lamp by Anthony Colucci combines handcrafted artistry with functional design. Its ceramic base is finished in a serene glaze palette of turquoise, aqua blue, and white, evoking waves breaking along a sunlit shore. The surface has a layered, organic quality, where lighter tones flow seamlessly into deeper blues and greens.

The glazing process, shown in the additional photos, reveals a thoughtful combination: MAYCO Green (dip) on the inside, AMACO River Birch around the middle, and MAYCO Speckled Jaded over the entire exterior. Applied to Laguna B-Mix clay and fired at cone 6 in a community kiln, these layers create depth, movement, and a distinctly handmade character.
