Seaweed over Storm is a deceptively simple yet striking celadon combination, demonstrated here by Isabella Santeufemio. Using AMACO Storm as a deep, moody base and layering Seaweed on top, the glazes melt together into rich blue-green pools with soft transitions and subtle depth.

Fired to Cone 6, the pairing highlights celadon transparency and movement. While Seaweed shows some gentle running toward the lower half, controlled application keeps the flow intentional rather than excessive. The result is a surface that feels calm, fluid, and oceanic—proof that a limited palette, when thoughtfully layered, can be both visually compelling and highly functional.
