The Galaxy Combo is a glazing technique used in pottery and ceramics to create a cosmic, swirling, or speckled effect that resembles a galaxy. This effect is typically achieved by layering multiple glazes—often a combination of glossy and matte, opaque and translucent, or different colors—to create depth and movement. In this case, Elizabeth Crawford used AMACO Obsidian as a base, then layered Seaweed, Smokey Merlot, and Indigo Float over it

• White speckles – just white underglaze flicked on
• Fired to cone 5,5
