The Beautiful Creatures of Natalia Gendera collection is a vibrant celebration of marine life, brought to life through masterfully crafted ceramic art by Polish artist Natalia Gendera. Each piece is a sculptural homage to the ocean, portraying whales, turtles, fish, iguanas, shells, and other aquatic wonders with both lifelike detail and artistic imagination. While some works are purely decorative, many are also functional – transformed into lamps, vases, candleholders, and other practical pieces – making them as useful as they are visually captivating.

Natalia’s artistry shines through in her use of richly layered glazes from different producers, carefully chosen to echo the colors and textures of the underwater world. She combines AMACO’s Aventurine, Honey Flux, Arctic Blue, and Textured Turquoise; soft Velvet Underglaze; MAYCO’s Light Magma; and SPECTRUM’s Autumn Purple and Sangria to create striking palettes that shift and flow across textured surfaces. These finishes mimic the shimmer of fish scales, the dappled light on coral reefs, and the smooth polish of ocean-worn shells.
