Frozen Pond with AMACO Storm and Seaweed

The Frozen Pond Mug by Leigh-Ann Naus is made from Plainsman M370 white stoneware. It features a layered glaze combination that creates deep blue-green tones with lighter highlights where the glazes overlap. Three coats of AMACO Storm are applied over the entire surface, followed by four rows of Spectrum Running Hot Chowder (RHC) scallops with two coats. Two coats of AMACO Seaweed complete the design, producing a smooth, flowing surface with organic movement and subtle transitions from cool blue to mossy green. The result is a natural, fluid finish reminiscent of water and vegetation. The mug is fired to Cone 6

• 4 rows of RHC scallops x 2 coats,
• Followed by Seaweed x 2
• Plainsman M370
