The decoration begins with 2\u20133 swoops of <strong>AMACO Honey Flux<\/strong>, giving the surface a glossy base that encourages the glazes to flow and blend in soft transitions. Over this, <strong>dots of AMACO Seaweed<\/strong> introduce fresh green accents that merge gently with the underlying tones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three coats of <strong>AMACO Black Aventurine<\/strong> are then applied over the entire piece, forming a rich, dark backdrop that glimmers subtly and lets the lighter colors beneath cascade downward in graceful streaks. That soft pink glow between the upper and lower Seaweed stripes isn\u2019t a separate glaze at all \u2014 it\u2019s simply the Honey Flux revealing its warmer side. Both the Seaweed and Honey Flux were applied directly onto the bare porcelain, and then the <strong>Black Aventurine<\/strong> was brushed over everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During firing, the Honey Flux bloomed through the dark surface, shifting from creamy white to blush-pink where heat and glaze layering worked their magic, while the Seaweed kept its rich green, flowing accents.
