Candle bowl by Kim Ann<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This small candle bowl by Kim Ann is made from buff stoneware clay and features a glazing combination of AMACO Albany Slip Brown and Snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Albany Slip Brown glaze was applied in three layers, giving the piece a rich, earthy brown tone with depth and warmth. It highlights the textured designs on the bowl\u2019s exterior, bringing out intricate, botanical-like patterns with a natural, rustic charm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AMACO Snow glaze was applied once as a \u201cgood glob\u201d along the rim. This white glaze melts down slightly into the Albany Slip Brown, creating a soft, buttery effect at the top that contrasts beautifully with the warm brown body. The combination produces a flowing, organic transition from light to dark, enhancing both the tactile and visual interest of the bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
