This stoneware plate by Leigh-Ann Naus<\/a> was created using the peacock technique<\/a><\/strong>. The piece is made from white stoneware<\/a><\/strong> and finished with two coats of Spectrum Pearl White<\/strong> as the base glaze. Two coats of AMACO River Birch<\/a> <\/strong> were applied for additional movement, dots of AMACO Smokey Merlot<\/a> and Mayco Teal Next Time (S&C). The piece was fired to Cone 6, resulting in a controlled flow and interaction of glazes characteristic of the peacock effect – soft pooling, subtle color transitions, and distinctive circular patterning across the surface<\/p>\n\n\n\n
