Toasted Sage over Honey Flux is a layered glaze combination from the AMACO Potter\u2019s Choice line, widely used by studio potters working at mid-range temperatures. The interaction between these two glazes is driven by contrast: Honey Flux is highly fluid and reactive, while Toasted Sage is more stable and matte-leaning. When fired together, the flux encourages movement, pooling, and subtle color variation without overwhelming the surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This balance makes the combination especially appealing for functional ware, where visual interest is desired without excessive gloss or run-off. Depending on glaze thickness and firing conditions, results can range from soft blue-green fields to deeper olive and moss tones, often with gentle breaking along rims and edges<\/p>\n\n\n\n
