Soft snowflakes drift across the surface, and the glaze has a layered depth that shifts gently in the light – calm, cozy, and a little bit magical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glaze:<\/strong> AMACO Cosmos Supernova <\/strong><\/a>over Lagoon<\/a><\/strong>. The two glazes were brushed in distinct bands with no overlap<\/strong> during application- Lagoon below, Supernova above. In the hot cone 6 firing<\/strong>, Supernova\u2019s naturally fluid melt softened and flowed<\/strong>, drifting over the Lagoon and creating that graceful, wintry fade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That same fluid, frosted-crystal finish is also what makes Supernova<\/strong> such a great choice for holiday pieces<\/strong>– it\u2019s especially beautiful on Christmas baubles\/ornaments<\/strong>, where the glaze can move and catch the light like icy sparkle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
