This small handmade stoneware lidded box by Nancy Ndk is intimate and quietly elegant. The form is simple and grounded – a rounded vessel with a snug-fitting lid – designed to be both functional and contemplative. A raised interlaced knot motif crowns the lid, its symmetrical pattern drawing from Celtic and medieval traditions and symbolizing continuity, protection, and timelessness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finished in AMACO Tuscan Blue<\/strong>, the surface carries a soft, weathered beauty reminiscent of sea glass and aged stone. The glaze settles gently over the carved texture, pooling in the recesses of the knot and thinning along the raised edges, creating depth and subtle movement.
