RHC (Running Hot Chowder) is a Spectrum glaze needed to create the extremely popular “frozen pond by Kathy McGuire” effect. It is, logically, in high demand worldwide, making it nearly impossible to purchase, especially in Europe.

However, if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on it, you can create stunning combinations like this one

So:

• Clay body: white stoneware clay without grog
• Thin stripes of Spectrum RHC
• Spectrum Texture Autumn x2 for outside
• Spectrum Milk & Honey x2 as a liner
• Fired to Cone 5 with 35 minutes hold
