Christmas mug by Elaine Diamond

“Christmas came early with this kiln opening! Always exciting to see what kind of treasure will be exposed after a firing, will it make it, did the chemical combination of the glazes do what you hoped, did anything explode, crack etc. So this morning was a good day when all was intact and behaved they way I hoped!!”

• Clay body: Porcelain
• Outside and handle of mug: heavy iron oxide wiped back
• 1 heavy coat of Seaweed wiped back
• 2 light coats of celadon Snow over
• Inside poured Opulence Celadon
• Fired to cone 5 with 10 min hold.
