Becca Siegel Himalayan Salt mug

This elegant mug by Becca Siegel showcases the delicate beauty of a single-glaze finish using MAYCO Himalayan Salt. The look is soft, subtle, and refined.

The glaze is applied in three layers over Bmix 10 clay, then fired to Cone 9 in oxidation. This high firing enhances the glaze’s soft cream and blush tones, bringing out faint pinkish hues and gentle surface variation. The result is a smooth, slightly satin finish that shifts in the light, with soft layering and pooling at the base for added depth.

There’s a gentle transition from warm ivory at the top to a hint of pale peach and rose at the bottom, reminiscent of natural Himalayan salt crystals. The carved band around the middle of the mug adds subtle texture that catches the glaze in a unique way.

Overall, this is a clean, peaceful, and modern piece—quiet in color but rich in character
